To say we are eternally grateful that our paths crossed is quite the understatement. You have been such a light and support in our lives when we need it the most. I am so grateful to you as part of our village. I’ve nourished my baby girl for the past 1+ years and it is largely because of you. It is something that I’m so proud of. You probably should have ran the first time you came to see us! We’re so thankful that you didn’t. You have provided such awesome support during one of the hardest periods of time for me. Katie is amazing. I cannot express how deeply grateful I am for her knowledge, her flexibility, and her unconditional support. I didn’t know how much I needed her until she came to our rescue.

After our lip tie and tongue tie revision, our dentist gave us a list of resources to follow up with. Now this was my fourth baby, she wasn’t having any issues gaining weight, and my supply was more than ample… why would I need to see a lactation consultant?! But with all the tongue and lip exercises I thought it couldn’t hurt so I contacted Katie through the Lactation Network and she was so warm; I felt like we had been friends for years. She taught me things about breastfeeding I had never known and she gave me the confidence to improve what I had been doing all along.

When I had a meltdown a few weeks later because of my daughter’s ties reattaching she was there for me and squeezed in a visit right away, despite her busy schedule. After our experience, I think every breastfeeding parent should see a LC no matter how children they have breastfed in the past and Katie is one I’d recommend.

I debated whether to pursue having a lactation consultant come to the house because I was already doing my best to survive the first few weeks of a newborn and wasn’t sure I could handle having someone come tell me I was doing it all wrong. I wanted someone knowledgeable, but down to earth and aware of the hardships of starting breastfeeding for a real world mom. I’m so happy I landed on Katie’s page and had her come. Not only was she endlessly knowledgeable, she answered my 4 million questions, gave me tons of tips and tricks, including what would help and what not to waste my time with. She also sent me links to products she recommended based on issues I was having. Best of all it felt like a friend coming to my house to check in on me. I couldn’t be more grateful for her help and I ended the session feeling totally confident I was doing everything right, but having a more concrete plan of what to do for future changes (like going back to work). I’d recommend her to all my friends. And will definitely use her guidance in the future.

We found Katie to be exceptional, a wealth of knowledge backed by years of clinical experience, she made us feel very comfortable and was incredibly personable while addressing all of our concerns. As new parents who already feel lost, she helped us develop a plan that will enable us to be successful and confident moving forward with our breastfeeding journey. We would highly recommend Katie to anyone who has questions or concerns about the breastfeeding process.

I was having so much trouble getting my daughter to latch when she was a few days old and was so stressed and exhausted. When Katie came to my house she made me feel totally comfortable and figured out the issue right away. In addition to helping with the latching problem she gave me tons of helpful tips and weighed the baby before and after a feeding to reassure me that she was getting enough milk. That 1 visit definitely helped me troubleshoot so many issues that came up later and made breastfeeding go much smoother. I highly recommend!

Breastfeeding can be stressful for new moms, but Katie makes you feel at ease from the beginning. She is the best!
